Characteristic and Usage:
SILONG 9163M is a long chain alkyl alkoxy silane. Si-9163M is used as a surface modify primer on inorganic substrates such as glass, pigment, mineral filler etc. to alter the physical characteristic of treated substrates. It is very low volatility, after application on the substrates, SILONG 9163M reacts with hydroxyl in the inorganic substrates or atmospheric moisture to form stable covalent bonds, thereby generating the active ingredient while liberating alcohol. The active ingredient greatly increase the water contact angle and oil wettability of the treated substrates, providing water-repellant, dustproof, anti-stiction, hydrophobicity effect.

Packaging and Storage:
SILONG 9163M has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original containers at room temperature. the containers must be protected against sunlight. If the material is kept beyond the shelf life recommended on the product label it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
SILONG 9163M is supplied in net weight 180kgs in new iron drum.
SILONG 9163M can little stimulate skin and eyes, so it is necessary to dress appliances for labor protection when contacting it.
